Chelsea Girls Get Hot In Jade Jagger's 'Modernist' Living Pods

Pod-tastic!
"Where's the air conditioner pod?" a real estate executive asked.
Around the corner, a sales associate was introducing a potential buyer to "your new boho pub." She pointed toward a shiny sink in a shiny closet.
Co-designer Tom Bartlett thinks of the pods as fabulous suitcases; Jade (the condo's namesake) has likened them to jewelry boxes--appropriate, considering her day job.
But would anyone want to call it home?
"I think it's a really interesting concept. It's very Jade," notes Elle Macpherson. "Doing the pods in a loft is genius."
Might she move in? "I live in London."
Building co-owner Samuel Breuer, a managing partner at Bronfman Fisher, isn't concerned. "This will sell like hotcakes," he promises. "It's the idea."
New Yorkers interested in the concept of "Aristo" or "Luxo" pods should be informed that the condos go on sale today. Prices are reasonable, though a broker warns they'll go up by the end of the week. This December (or January 2007), the pods will be open for luxo living.
