Now the situation appears to be this:

(1) Surnow is allowed to spew racial and religious hatred across the US public at prime time every few days.

(2) Anyone who suggests this power is accorded to him because he is Jewish (as opposed to merely because he is a 'right-winger' in some lame, narcissistic, Judeocentric sense) is a 'hater'.

Jonathan Tilove?s Newhouse News Service story on the recent American Renaissance conference in Herndon, VA, arrived the other day. American Renaissance (AR) is an erudite, racialist or white nationalist publication. I subscribed after interviewing its editor, Jared Taylor, for a magazine piece I never finished?nearly seven years ago. Taylor is a Yale graduate, a gentleman, fluent in several languages, a man who might have succeeded in many different fields. In 1983 he published an acclaimed book on Japanese culture. Since the late 80s he has devoted his life to the somewhat thankless task of raising the racial consciousness of white Americans. He has few illusions about his progress. Tilove quotes him welcoming the AR conferees: "We are minoritarian. We are marginal in terms of influence and numbers and not only that, according to the mainstream, we are a despicable group."

In 1995 I thought the Taylor message merited some consideration. I was working at the New York Post, whose editorial page was perched on the cutting edge of the city?s racial divides. New York?s crime rate was much higher; Los Angeles had recently been through riots; O.J. had been acquitted; a prominent black professor was urging black jurors to ignore evidence against black defendants, etc. Commentary assigned me to do a piece, which I provisionally titled "The White Man?s Malcolm." I wrote it quickly over a week?s vacation. Neal Kozodoy, my editor, said I indulged Taylor too much and asked for a rewrite, which I never got around to.

Once one gets past the taboos that hold that white racial consciousness is uniquely evil, the arguments in its favor are obvious. Those against are more subtle and take longer to germinate.

Clearly American whites are facing a political and cultural dispossession that is without modern historical precedent: immigration, unless reformed, will reduce them to minority status in this century; affirmative action directly discriminates against them; hate-crime statutes are twisted to punish them unequally; the culture industry devotes vast resources to denigrating their history and heroes. We celebrate Dr. King (who plagiarized his PhD thesis, for heaven?s sake) and relegate George Washington to "Presidents? Day."

Taylor wraps arguments like this in a doctrine that seeks to prepare whites to go their own way. He finds it unnatural that, in a country where every other group organizes along ethnic and racial lines to pursue its goals, whites are supposed to make extraordinary efforts to extirpate their subconscious racism. Why shouldn?t they pursue their racial interests as well?

If you oppose Israeli policy against the Palestinians on humanitarian grounds, it follows, from consistency if nothing else, that you must apply the same principle to any instance of injustice, whether against an individual or against a people.

Your country banished its political prisoners, mostly Irish, to Australia, in a policy of dual ethnic cleansing, as you uprooted the aboriginal population there as well in transplanting your own colonial subjects, and banished them to the infertile hinterland.

Moreover, you continue to pursue an unjust policy of military occupation in Ireland, and build "peace fences" to segregate the population there. When will you pay reparations to the Irish?

So as not to be hypocritical, I would add that the United States decimated the Native American population, and consigned them to reservations, a policy of ethnic cleansing that has not been reversed or overturned.

Likewise, we provoked war with Mexico to sieze its property, which we now call California and the American southwest, and we are trying
to expel Mexicans from that territory, calling them 'illegal immigrants' and threatening to build a wall of separation on the Mexican border, just like your peace walls, or the Israeli wall.

Finally, we have never adequately made amends for the lasting legacy of slavery, preferring instead to imagine that we have purged our society of racism, and turning a blind eye to myriad instances of institutionalized prejudice that preserves discrimination, albeit in a less conspicuous way.

Yes, Rowan, you must oppose injustice against people where you find it, under whatever guise it cloaks itself.

Wolfowitz faxed the Wall Street Journal a set of "talking points" about the former ambassador that the paper's editors could use to discredit him in print, according to Libby's grand jury testimony, and then leaked to the paper a portion of the then-still-classified NIE that claimed Iraq did in fact attempt to acquire uranium from Niger. The Journal printed, verbatim, Wolfowitz's talking points in an editorial in its July 17, 2003, edition and then misled its readers about the source of the information.

Last month saw one of the Yesha Council leaders, Pinchas Wallerstein, meeting with Jewish community leaders in the United States and pitching the idea of organizing groups or individual investors interested in the region. Yeah, but dude, the point is we're not doing ethnic cleansing or genocide anymore and we don't like the idea of bankrolling the Israelis so they can do it. They wouldn't be able to do it without us. And if we had an unbought press they wouldn't be able to do it at all. There are still plenty of things that Americans won't stand for.

Yeah - your grandma and grandpa did such a good job of wiping out the native people that you can now throw them a couple of casinos and act holier than thou against others. "We're not doing ethnic cleansing or genocide anymore." So your advice to the Israelis is that they should have done ethnic cleansing and genocide earlier in their history, and then shown remorse after the fact. Interesting. Put your money where your mouth is Lady and start giving back land to the Native Americans. Lets start with Manhattan.

And with respect to ethnic cleansing, I would submit to you that aggressive anti-immigration enforcement, and trying to reverse a tide of latin-American immigrants constitutes precisely that. It was their land (don't take my word for it, read Ulysses Grant), and we claimed it for our own. Now you can defend our national rights to ensure border integrity, but you shouldn't have any illusions about the fact that this is merely an instance of might making right. Noam Chomsky, frequently invoked around these precincts, doesn't.

With respect to Silver Medalist, the issue is not whether Rowan is critical of Israel or not, which he is perfectly entitled to be, it's whether his stance is based upon an ideal or principle of social justice. He freely admits that it is not, which is also his right, but it would be hypocritical of him to say that his view is a matter of human rights, if he is indifferent to the plights of other subjugated peoples, or pretends that he or his culture or country is not at all culpable for much of the suffering in the world.

The above comments on my supposed views are not based on anything I have said, but on projection of stereotypes and prejudice onto my name, which acts as a clothespeg.

I have made it quite clear that I do not recognise the moral responsibility of modern states, since I hold them to be pawns of international banking. This proposition seems to fall outside the mental wavelength of the people who criticise me, since they don't perceive it at all, and just rattle on about whether "the English" are "better" than "the Jews" as if they were twelve-year-olds reading their first school history books.

What you all have to get to grips with is the abnormal (clientilistic, as I put it) relationship between your supposed 'nation' and the most powerful of these banking dynasties, because that is what is going to bring about a race war, or rather several race wars, in which you as self-professed Jews are unlikely to do very well.

The critic above implies that he has some idea which he calls 'social justice', but in fact his ideas are completely cosmetic.
