11 a.m. The state chapter of the NAACP, the local chapter of Coalition of One Hundred Black Women and ACORN will demand that Don Imus be fired at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
11:30 a.m. Rep. Anthony Weiner and Assemblyman Michael Gianaris will appear with an MTA representative to announce an initiative that will provide security cameras at subway stations at the northwest corner of 30th Avenue and 31st Street in Queens.
6 p.m. The Homesteading Assistance Board will discuss low-income housing co-ops as a solution to affordable housing shortage at 120 Wall Street.
7 p.m. Congressman Charles Rangel, chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, will speak at a Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century event at Bar 9, 801 Ninth Avenue.
7 p.m. MoveOn.org, SEIU and Campaign for America's Future will hold a virtual town hall meeting. Sen. Joe Biden, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Chris Dodd, Sen. John Edwards, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Sen.
