One More Reason for Hollywood to Support Obama

Stephen Baldwin, a born-again Christian and brother of Alec, whose most recent "role" was an apprearance on Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice, told Fox News' Laura Ingraham that he will leave the country if Barack Obama becomes the next president (fingers crossed?), yet another reason for Hollywood to keep making campaign donations to the Senator.

Watch the clip to see Mr. Baldwin's rant against Hollywood's support of the Democratic candidate and the reasons why he's backing John McCain.

We should all leave if Obama is elected.

And they said no good would ever come from politics...

Anonymous (not verified) says:

And where, pray tell, will he go?

ECM (not verified) says:

The good news is Stephen, unlike his brother (amongst others), will actually keep his word--something that isn't terribly in vogue (or even Obama-like) in LaLaLand.

Christian (not verified) says:

he said "most stupidest"

GeneRutt (not verified) says:

If you saw the show when he said this, he was very obviously crossing his fingers in front of the camera and apparently poking fun at Hollywood celebrities who make such comments.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

We're going to have ridiculous taxes and rationed health care ... not to mention all the other problems that will get worse.

I'd leave also ....but to where?

Anonymous (not verified) says:

I was a Mccain supporter , but if Obama's election makes Stephen Baldwin leave , then I'm biting the bullet and voting for him

Lilybart (not verified) says:

OMG, how fast can we make this happen!!

Hey IT was a Joke, Get it?
perhaps not.
Have a nice day!

Bye!

just a thinker (not verified) says:

hilarious - his loser child abusing brother, along with dim-witted susan sarandon and her flake husband tim roberts all say if gw bush is elected in '04 they will all leave the usa, and the msm says "good for them". now someone from la-la-land says he'll leave (jokingly) if obambi is elected and the msm says we should all vote for the loser.

sorry, leftie msm - this baldwin has it right - first, he's making it obvious it's a joke, unlike your lunatic fringe heroes, and second - obambi will make america worthy of leaving if elected!!

Anonymous (not verified) says:

he said the same thing 8 years ago about Bush. He didn't leave then, he's not leaving now.

Tom Miller (not verified) says:

Stephen Baldwin is a celebrity? Who knew. I'm an Obama man, myself. But so long as Bush goes away, it's a win win all around. But if Baldwin leaves the US because Obama was democratically elected by the people of the United States, even better.

P.S. McCain was great on Saturday Night Live playing the Creepy Guy. If he makes President or not, he'll have a great career as an actor. Worked for Reagan.

iluvhatemail (not verified) says:

hahahahaha! I hope he takes Laura with him :D

Jon 60625 (not verified) says:

My god you people are idiotic. He was poking fun at his brother's promise to leave if Bush were elected. It's pretty freaking obvious.

Idiots. Brainless idiots...

Anonymous (not verified) says:

umm...I think you missed the point. Baldwin was not serious. He was making fun of the media and his brother's vow to leave the country. He even said something about seeing what the media would do with his statement. You played into his theory.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

One more example of why Ms Aleksander and her ilk DO NOT REPRESENT mainstream America. Most of the Hollywood crowd is soooo out-of-touch...

Anonymous (not verified) says:

This was obviously a joke at his brothers expense.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

Change....It's the only thing you will have left in your pockets!

Anonymous (not verified) says:

Ok, then. See ya later, Alec. Bon Voyage. Get out. Here, I'll even help you pack your stuff. Ta-ta. Aloha! Arrivederci! Hasta la bye-bye! Goodbye, asshole!

Chris Bove (not verified) says:

Good Grief, that was said in jest a week ago. As far as the news cycle goes it's no longer news, it's history. Besides, if your going to suggest that his statement be taken seriously than I would suggest you follow up with an article on Alec, the Baldwin brother that didn't move out of the U.S. when Bush was elected.

ccuser (not verified) says:

Family get-togethers with Alec and Stephen must be a hoot.

We were sold the three stooges. At least there are only two left from which to choose. No plans for 1) closing our southern border 2)getting rid of the IRS 3) ending our foreign "police actions and conflicts" 4) restoring the Constitution and rule of law.
Just "change" in the way the wealthy will be paying for a new list of entitled programs from Nat'l Health Care to immigration reform. What a sad election year it is.

Jim D. (not verified) says:

How about he leaves the country if EITHER Obama or McCain is elected.
(Anybody remember him as Barney Rubble in the Flintones Viva Rock Vegas movie? Bad, bad, bad.)

Michael Hackmer (not verified) says:

It's funny, because your characterization of the video is a bit off.

Baldwin is clearly joking, responding to Ingraham's point about left-leaning Hollywood celebs who promised to leave the country if Bush got elected / re-elected and never did.

Baldwin's larger point is that the celebs actually think Americans care what they have to say - or how they are going to vote. Well, we don't care. And he's right about that.

Lastly, you spread this video as if it makes Baldwin and Ingraham look bad, and it does not.

Anonymous (not verified) says:

We need to elect McCain and then most of Hollywood and their agenda will leave the country. Now that would be good.

True American (not verified) says:

Good to see that one of the Baldwin brothers has some sense. Way to go Stephen!

Anonymous (not verified) says:

What's funny to me she has a so called celebrity commenting on why we should care what celebrities think, I'm the only one seeing the irony.

David Rooney (not verified) says:

I have zero organized affiliations with religion.

Not only do I echo this nut but as this bear market rally fizzles I'm cashing out and going to Asia.

Enabling Nancy Pelosi and Al Gore is like a chemical weapon attack on the US economy. And that is all Obama will be.

And not only do I not fear an actors strike I'm praying for it. Now the 10% who actually "work" can refrain from polluting the airwaves for quite some time. Blasphemy. It's amazing how an industry can shovel so much junk and not be in the waste business.

Aloha
