Biden on McCain's 'Lack of Understanding' of Foreign Policy

Here's Joe Biden on an Obama campaign conference call earlier arguing that John McCain had no idea what he's talking about when it comes to foreign policy:

"Quite frankly, I've known John for over 32 years. I don't understand anything about John's policy here. John talks about the central concern is the war on terror yet it's in Afghanistan. Al Qaeda, we know where they live, where they're building, it's in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And John's policy in Iraq prevents us from having a larger strategy to deal with that."

Asked what he thought of McCain's idea that Iraq could one day have a level of American troop presence like that in Korea, Biden said, "I love John, he has been my friend for 33 years. He doesn't get it. The mere fact that you would have someone compare the circumstances now, in the past, or in the future, of Iraq to the ending of World War II and the ending of the Korean war absolutely demonstrates a total fundamental lack of understanding of what the problems America faces."

Biden is right on the money, again. He should be Secretary of State if Obama doesn't pick him for VP.

Biden can't espouse on Obama's experience, so the only thing he can do is bash Mccain. If Obama pulls off a win let's hope he offers Biden a job. Delaware would be blessed to be rid of him.
