I have been an advid shopper, of WalMart on RT38 in Lumberton NJ, and had my prescriptions filled there also. I emailed you about the electric carts not being charged, at 9AM and received a call from someone from that store. It didn't take long and again five of the carts were low and again they had to bring me a push cart to transfer my purchases. But, after the very last incident I experienced with the pharmacy, I will never shop in WalMart again. I take a pain pill due to several kidney stone attacks which occur at any time. My doctor did not date the RX after I shopped around the pharmacist tells me he can not fill it as it was not dated. He did not call the doctor til after I came to pick it up, when he reached my doctor, the straw that broke the camel's back was they did not have any in stock! I will never never go there again, I've had all my rx changed to another drug store, where I have found confidence in. Also, ahead of me was a police office who dropped off a rx the day before, that was not filled either! Needless to say he took his Rx back too! Sincerely, a former customer of WalMart.

You are trying to build a Wal Mart on Lady's Island and the local politicans are keeping you out. You don't need to contact local government as this is a federal territory. All of the Sea Islands between Charleston, S.C. and Savannah,Ga. are territories of the federal government and have never belonged to the state. Almost everything that is done on these islands is illegal or null and void. A Mrs.Dunn at 1McTeer Dr. St. Helena Is., S.C. 29920 has all of the law to prove this. Mrs Peters was a court reporter for about 30 years. She is now 80 years old and worth every minute of your time.Thank you, Joni Dimond (843)686-4910)

Hello,

For the first time ever my wife has told me that a manger at your store has refused to take back a defective item. I am like millions of customers that frequent your stores and also an investor cause of the great past, present, and future returns on our portfolio. Since the beginning of time I can remember as a child the main reasons my parents had for shopping at Wal-Mart was the no hassle of if a product was defective at any time you would have the security of Wal-Mart to take the item back. There are hundreds of stories that I personally know of people in my families circle to swear by your companies policies of taking back items for any reasons. That is from a ten dollar steak that was already consumed to a pair of headrest DVD players for reasons as the color was off on one but they were bought as a pair and both replaced with better models and this was two years after the purchased date on the receipt. Some receipts I have viewed were up to five years in time were I have personally taken back items with no questions asked. I was just refunded. That’s why I shop at Wal-Mart.

Our personal situation consist of a $40.00 dollar vacuum purchased about 6 months ago and has been used less then ten times. I have reviewed the receipt and no where in print does it read about this new 90 day policy your manager told my wife? We our fortunate enough to have a pair of Roomba’s where we push a button and vacuuming is done for us, but certain spots still need a manual push vacuum every now and then. I am not going to mention all of the satisfied purchases that we have made threw out the years. Also, I will continue to shop at my local Wal-mart at least 4 times a week. I don’t have a choice cause of the value my family receives from our over all purchases from our food to all of our everyday needs. I would like someone to just explain the changing of the Wal-Mart policies. Telling this story to one of my associates they countered my experience with a story of bring back a item over 2 years old to the same location and receiving a 100% refund. This was on a electronic item they had bought for there child. Why the double standard? Does it matter who you talk to? In the past it has always been a pleasant transaction.

I would suggest notification of the change to everyone and a level policy for all customers and locations. We are not happy but Wal-mart will go on without us.
I still would like an explanation for my future use of this situation.

If someone would like to research this the item # is 004603489156 and trans action ID # 0007271529026646.

I have even been in my local store and asked sales people if they thought they where hiring, they have said, yes last week they hired a bunch of people....I am 47yrs old, male, high school grad. new in the area. I want to work. What's the deal?I have done everything I can think to do. All the people I have talked to in the stores have said they are happy with their job....Help

I was a lover of Walmart until this happen to me today. June 24,2008 In Hamden, CT Store # 3545 OP#00001632 under manager Robert Davis.

At store #5439 New Haven I purchase 2pkgs of boys boxer brief on sale for $4.75 a pkg. Each pkg should contain 3 boxer brief underwear. When I got home the pkgs they only had 2 brief underwear. So I returned them to store #3545 to exchange for the 3pkg brief that I paid for with my receipt. Pick up 2 pkgs priced at $5.50 each and this store wanted me to pay the different of $1.50 because their store did not sell them at the price I paid in store # 3545. Night Manager told me I needed to return them to the store I purchase the from. All my years of experiences inretail I have never heard of anything like this before.

Shame on Walmart! UNETHICAL CANCELLATION PROCESS; I purchased a trampoline for $350 that I immediately realized was the wrong size. I called Walmart's 800 Customer Service number and informed the representative that it was the wrong size and that I needed to cancel the order. Although the item had NOT been shipped the representative told me that as stated on their web site that items purchased on-line cannot be cancelled. I am expected to wait 3 weeks for this item to be shipped to a Walmart store, pick it up from their "pick-up" at the back of the store, bring it to the front of the store's Customer Service desk and ask them to cancel the item. Then if all goes well, Walmart will credit my card, in about 5-10 days later. Walmart has tied up approximately $350 of my available credit on my Master Card and has had use of my money for approximately 3 plus weeks if this process goes like clockwork. It is quite possible that this entire process could take longer then I would end up paying interest for the period of time Walmart tied up my purchase. This is completely unfair to the consumer and a ridiculous policy. Additionally, I contacted their Customer Service via email asked to escalate this situation to a manager and I also asked for the name and address of their executive offices so that I could complain about this policy in writing and my request was denied. Walmart does not have an escalation process or anyone in their customer service group with any authority. I will never shop at Walmart again. Walmart's cancellation policy is grossly unfair to their customers.

I have shopped at Walmart every since it opened here in Dayon, TN. But I ran into a problem with their TV's and Computers. I am wondering where they buy them because the 32 inch flat screen Sanyo TV I bought started acting up 5 months after the year warranty ran out, I had bought an extended warranty so I contacted them and they made me box the TV up and send it to NY. The TV would turn itself off by itself, the service company contacted me and said they could not find anything wrong with it and they were sending it back, I recieved it and hooked it up and it started doing the same thing again.I contacted Walmart warranty and asked them what I could do now,I was told that if the service person said that there wasn't anything wrong with it then they couldn't do anything about it. in other words I just have to put up with it.It was like they were saying " We got your money so too bad too sad"

The service repair person told me it was caused by the antenna, WHAT??? I told them that it was a new antenna and by the way I BOUGHT IT AT WALMART. It is supposed to be digital ready.

Then Last week my computer just quit working and me like an idiot went down to Walmart and bought a Compaq, I brought it home and hooked it up and went through the set up and set up my AOL. When I was finished I started just checking out the computer, and found out the speakers didn't work and they were integrated in the monitor so it wasn't something simple as just changing out the speakers, So I went back to Walmart and asked what to do, I was told that I needed to box up the whole computer and bring it back, I told her that I already had my information on the computer, I asked if there was some way of just changing out the monitor she said no.

I will not ever buy any expensive electronic products from Walmart ever again, I am wondering if they are rejects and Walmart bought them for a cheap price. I intend on following through with this, I am going to turn in a report to Comsumers Report and the BBB.We also have a reporter at one of our TV stations that just loves to check on things like this. I have better things to do with my money than buy junk.

I was a lover of walmart until this happened!

I bought an I-Pod apple for $280.00 for my son and when he got it for his birthday, he tried to put all his music on it. We downloaded music for 2 hours and we tried to synchronize it, but fortunately enough, it didn't work. I refused to let him have this one any longer and so the next day i went back to WalMart and went to customer service to get my money back so i could buy a new one for my son. They said that they would give me half of my money back and they woulnd't do anything about the rpoblems with the I-Pod. So they made me pay an extra $280.00 for another I-Pod. They made $420.00 off of me those days. I will never shop at WalMart as long as I live because their stuff is proboably Pon Shop crap that they shined up a little. I will stand by this statement for the rest of my life.

Sincerely,

Angry Customer

I was in your store in Oakland, CA recently and the customer directly ahead of me,
a middle-aged woman, was complaining to the cashier that said cashier had "double-charged" her for all the items. The cashier denied it and proceeded to argue with the
poor woman. The customer asked the cashier to simply look at the receipt so that she
could see her mistake. The cashier refused, became verbally abusive and called the
store manager. The manager basically served no purpose other than to inflame the
situation even more. Rather than being intelligent and professional enough to resolve
the situation, the manager proceeded the verbal abuse of the poor woman for mistakes
that were committed by Walmart personnel. That you are willing to employ and retain
and even promote idiots of this magnitude is reason for my family and I to shop else-
where. We have so many options. I didn't even know this victim but I'm writing because
I felt so badly for her. They can consider themselves lucky they didn't pull that crap on
me because I would have been in their faces! Great way to run a business!!!! See ya...
